1. I am currently using Bloglines, but will most likely use ActiveRefresh when the new version comes out (right now it doesn't support ATOM.) The main reason I will be switching is it's ability to scrape HTML, as I read a lot of news sites that do not have RSS/ATOM feeds.

3. I prefer the convenience of efficient reading from multiple computers-- but even without that Bloglines is a great product. SharpReader is perhaps the best of the free Windows tools, FeedDemon the best of the Windows payware... but I just can't bring myself to leave Bloglines, which does everything I need.

4. Love it... been using since pre-release. Simply the best desktop reader on Mac OS. I tried Shrook, but came right back.

I like Bloglines and also like Newsgator (online) but find that without a real way to sync it all, I just stick to NNW and catch up if I am away.

Hand/RSS works well on Palm...

8. I use NewsIsFree (actually I created NewsIsFree)

It's web based (no synching problems around several computers), constantly updated, has a search engine builtin, lets me post items to mail or blogs, lets me receives news by mail... Oh, and other a lots of sources which are not avaible in RSS/ATOM!

It's been around longer than most (since 1999) but most people don't know it's a web base news aggregator...

12. I dig SharpReader... its light, to the point, and has great technical options.

The real struggle is the wife-friendly aggregator. I think web-based readers just present a feel of the web, and that's not the feel I get from RSS. I've looked at several, but I keep thinking that everyone should adopt something like a skin-able SharpReader if that's possible.

13. After trying most of the stand-alones (sharpreader, wildgrade newsdesk, voxlite, rss bandit), I have finally settled of intraVnews. It's integration with outlook is the feature I need and the price is right -- free. If for some reason I have to change, I'll probably pay the price and go to NewsGator since I have found that integration in to Outlook is the most productive way to handle my needs.

15. FeedDemon has changed my life. Love the watch lists. It's particularly good at managing groups and related OPML which allows me to sync my current reading list back and forth across a couple computers.

I was underwelmed by NetNewsWire lite. I suppose it might have been ok in its day, but these days Shrook 2.0 is the place to be if you're running OSX. Still, I wish I could run FeedDemon on my PowerBook.

16. After much experimentation, it's now the module (beta) one can add to a My Yahoo! page that I find most convenient. It permits up to 50 feeds, and, like other site administered collectors, is far speedier when on dialup. (Except for that, I'd give Forumzilla for Mozilla and Thunderbird a thumbs up.) I set up yet another My!Yahoo account using Opera 7.50 for mainly this purpose -- the RSS system in their mail module cannot match Yahoo convenience, IMHO. Opera's big advantagewith RSS is its snappy back-forth moving and tabbed pages; Firefox cannot match that .And, any reader that uses the IE engine is impossibly slow!
I think it essential to have a speedy HTML reader for web page links available -- and with ad and junk removal features! For a really serious sessions of exploring and trawling RSS I find nothing to rival Smalltak-coded Bottomfeede -- one app that suggests a path to "intertwingularity." It incorporates a really nifty browser component of its own.

18. I like the ease of adding and managing feeds, and most of all, the tabbed browsing of FeedDemon. It also enables fast, efficient navigation of the large number of feeds that I follow.

NewsIsFree is a powerful online reader, but not as fast or efficient as FeedDemon. For me, the most valuable features of NewsIsFree are ease of finding and adding feeds, and custom feeds for sites with no RSS feed.

19. Bloglines when I am away from my pc. Feed Demon is good but it can display the feed only by alphabetic order :( Sharpreader takes too much memory and I have only 128 mb of RAM

20. I read a bunch of reviews and decided to start wtih Bloglines. So far, I haven't hit anything that's made me need to investigate the others. I don't travel, so the web-access is fine with me. (I read others saying they liked to download everything and THEN read).
