Rmail is an RSS subscription system that sends feed entries to a specified e-mail address. As Google Blogoscoped points out, you could direct RSS feeds to Gmail, apply filters, and you'd have a Gmail RSS aggregator. You subscribe right on the Rmail page. The only thing I haven't figured out is how to UNsubscribe. ...oops, never mind. Just got the answer to that. Each e-mail contains an unsubscribe link.

I am using it for LiveJournal, but it should work with any RSS feed.
